Four years ago I was maid of honour for my dear friend Laura. Part of my duties was to throw the party of all parties ... Laura's hen do! The enormity of the task overwhelmed me. I had just about managed to organise a girly night a the local, let alone a brides hen party!
As I did my research it became very apparent that the 'typical' hen party just didn't fit! So I started to put myself in Laura's shoes... if I was laura what would I like to do with my friends to celebrate this exciting time in my life? We always met for a mid week coffee and cake at the local coffee shop so afternoon tea would be the ultimate catch up with all her hens.
Laura has a really demanding job - mentally, physically and every bride knows that planning a wedding can be stressful! I wanted her to relax - let's face it we all need some down time and to put ourselves on our to do list. So an afternoon of pampering would be ideal.
No hen party is complete without a spot of glamour! So I wanted to use my skills as a make-up artist to make laura over to make her feel special.
Now I get asked all the time how to do a smokey eye so why not show her friends how to do it with a mini masterclass, this way we can all get ready together and then hit the town for a spot of dancing and a few cocktails?
As my ideas flowed I got really excited! Suddenly it dawned on me, this is the ultimate party or all parties!! - Yay!!
I of course threw in some bride to be games like Mr and Mrs and we honestly had the best time!
And that is how The Bachelorette Club was born!
Now like any idea - The Bachelorette Club has evolved! Not only do we offer parties for the bride to be. We are also bringing the prosecco and pampering to your home, with our home spas! The ultimate night in!!
