Get inspired and start collecting ideas. If you haven't already, get yourself on over to Pinterest. It is a great online inspiration tool and the perfect place to start pinning ideas to a mood board.
Book your hair and make-up artist. Be sure to do your research when looking for a stylist and get recommendations where possible. A good artist will be able to show a portfolio of past work and testimonials from previous clients.
If you are planning to colour your hair, book in with your hairdresser to start achieving your desired colour. Discuss and plan your haircare routine including colour, cut, and deep conditioning hair masks. If you are planning to wear your hair up, avoid having short layers cut into your hair.
If you haven't already look at your diet and exercise regime. Your skin, hair and nails need nutrients so make sure you are giving your body what it needs, and of course stay hydrated!

This is a very good time to book your trial in with your hair and make-up artist. Be sure to arrange your make-up trial during the day. This will allow your make-up artist to carry out your trial in natural daylight. Wash and style your hair as normal the day before your trial. Blow drying the hair is advisable, as this will smooth out the hair giving you a smoother result.
I have a motto that I like to share with my clients! "Look after your skin and your skin will take care of you!" Prevention is better than cure ladies, so do your homework! Cleanse, tone and moisturise daily, exfoliate and mask weekly! Don't forget your eye cream! I promise you'll thank me later!
If you are thinking of having eyelash extensions, spray tanning or hair extensions, now is the perfect time to trial these services too. And remember! Be sure to get those all important recommendations!
2 week to go...
This is the perfect time to schedule in your final hair colour and cut. I always love my hair 2 weeks after my colour and cut as I find the hair has settled.
If you have done your homework, you should have noticed an improvement in your skin. Your skin is the foundation to your make-up so for the best results have your last facial now. Major breakouts can be avoided with a regular skincare routine.
